I’m a small-town girl at heart, bringing my rural Illinois upbringing with me to my Chicago suburban home. I think we all want to feel connected to one another, and I think most of us don’t know how to do it without elaborate parties, recipes, and expectations.

Join me as I give you easy ways to connect with:

  • Your kids
  • Your neighbors
  • The senior citizen that lives down the road
  • Your co-workers
  • Your aging parent
  • Your friend who is struggling
  • The barista at your coffee shop

For more than 15 years, I have dedicated my life’s work to connecting with special populations including seniors, kids, and adults living with developmental disabilities. I’ve worked in hands-on and leadership roles to plan events and activities that empower and leave everyone feeling important and cared for.

Nowadays, I write fulltime, in between parenting my 9-year-old son and volunteering throughout my community. You can catch me at:

….and more, including national senior care franchises

Let’s learn together and connect in small ways to make this life feel less lonely.
